PHILIPPINE SCRIPT CALLIGRAPHER
Gino Banola, a self-taught baybayin calligrapher, is the founder of Panitik Kaligrapiya. Driven by a deep love for Filipino arts and culture, Gino merges traditional brush strokes with modern technology to promote the Filipino ancient script to a global audience. His mission is to ensure that this beautiful script is not only embraced by Filipinos but also appreciated by people from around the world.
He made history to be the first Filipino script Calligrapher to display our very own Baybayin script in 360 deg digital platform.
This original artwork was used in SULYAP on 17-August, 2024 held in Theatre Of Digital Arts Dubai, UAE.
As a UAE-based 3D and graphic designer, Gino draws inspiration from the diverse creative influences surrounding him, which significantly impact his art. Gino has worked on numerous commissioned art projects for artists and businesses worldwide.

In addition to his calligraphy, Gino and his wife Cai founded a Filipino clothing brand named ANYO. Established in Dubai during the pandemic,The brand started printing apparel imprinting a message of culture, history, talents, and values. The shirt started gaining popularity to its Filipino audience because of the different messages and unique design in every shirt. Worn with comfort and style. A history written and worn. FILIPINO MARTIAL ARTIST
Gino is also a dedicated martial artist, honing his skills in Philippine martial arts known as Arnis, Kali, and Eskrima. He collaborates with other martial artists to promote Filipino national sports globally, aspiring to showcase the unique strength and beauty of Philippine cultural heritage.
